We are only a week away from the 2022 Central Unified School District State of the District. This year we are introducing the #FoundationChampion Honorees. Students fom El Capitan Middle School had the opportunity to preview the newest Manga Collection! If you aren't familiar, Manga is a style of Japanese comic books and graphic novels. Students made their way to the preview event during lunch and the excitement filled the library, as each student set their eyes on the collection.
Teacher Librarian, Mrs. King was awarded a 2021-2022 Classroom Project Grant. Due to the pandemic, books took a longer time to arrive. However, despite the hurdle all books arrived and she was happy to host this amazing event. Books are officially ready for check-out as of today!
As a reminder the application deadline for the 22-23 Classroom Project Grant is Friday September 23, 2022 at 10 a.m.
