The Foundation for Central Schools launched the Central Schools Well-Being Project on October 1st. This project connects students and families to vital resources for food security, mental health, and housing. This project is supported by Kaiser Permanente Northern California Community Benefit Programs.
In just 18 days we will host one of the largest food drives in the Central Unified community. From poultry to fruit and groceries for the family we will have everything to keep our students comfortable for the holidays.
On this #GivingTuesday we are thankful for our partnership with The Knights of Columbus.
Over the last few years this organization has partnered with #Foundation4Central and has helped provide food, coats, and resources to our Central Unified School District students and their families. This past week, the Knights and Foundation selected 10 families to receive all the fixings for a beautiful Thanksgiving meal. Our Central Liaisons helped distribute the food and families were greeted with pie, turkey and everything in between.
Thank you again to our amazing partners, The Knights of Columbus. You are a true #GivingTuesday story!
The biggest day to give is finally here! #GivingTuesday is all about local non profits and how YOU can help them. The #Foundation4Central is just one local non profit here in the Central Valley for you to consider today. All of our funds raised will directly impact the 14th Annual Holiday Joy Food Drive and the continued efforts of Warm For Winter.
