The Steinbeck Clothing Closet Officially Opened It's Doors Today!

Today marks the 3rd district-wide clothing closet opening thanks to the partnership with the Foundation, Granville Homes and The Assistance League Of Fresno. The clothing closet is located in the front office. Steinbeck students will have immediate access to the closet during regular school hours. Student council and student peer counselors will act as advocates for the clothing closet, encouraging students to take advantage when in need. Plus, students district-wide have access to the closets by placing a request with a school admin, liaison or by visiting the centralfoundation.org website.

The Central Unified School District clothing closets are part of the Warm For Winter initiatives and The Well-being Project provided by The Foundation For Central Schools. These projects support resources to help students thrive inside and outside the classroom. Including resources for food, health, and housing. Central Unified families and community members can learn more by visiting centralfoundation.org for more information.
